Account Disconnection and Data Deletion

Spark Short Drama does not create a separate username-and-password account. TikTok authentication creates a limited, pseudonymous Spark viewer authorization used for secure playback and episode entitlements.

Fastest method: disconnect in the Mini

1. Open Spark Short Drama inside TikTok using the TikTok account you want to disconnect.
2. Open Profile, then Privacy or the displayed disconnection control.
3. Select Disconnect and remove local data.
4. Review the confirmation explaining that deletion cannot be undone, then confirm.

A successfully completed request clears the continue-watching record on that device, ends the current Spark viewer session, records a protected deletion marker, deletes the active Spark viewer authorization, and asks TikTok to revoke Spark's access. The Mini displays whether both Spark deletion and TikTok revocation were confirmed.

If TikTok revocation is not confirmed

Your Spark record may already be deleted even if TikTok's revocation service times out. To complete the platform side, open TikTok's Manage apps or connected-app settings, find Spark Short Drama, and remove its access. Removing Spark from TikTok should also cause TikTok to send an authorization-removal event to us. You can safely repeat the disconnect request; the process is designed to be idempotent.

Clear each device

Continue-watching progress is stored only in local Mini storage and is not uploaded to Spark's server. An email request cannot locate or erase storage on a device. Use “Disconnect and remove local data” or “Remove from Library” on each device, or clear the TikTok Mini's local storage using TikTok/device controls. Device-local progress automatically expires after 30 days of inactivity.

Submit a privacy request by email

Email contact@sparkart.hk with the subject “Spark Short Drama Privacy Request.” Include:

• The right you want to exercise: access/know, portability, correction, deletion, opt-out, restriction, objection, or appeal.
• Your U.S. state, so we can apply the relevant legal requirements.
• A Spark display ID shown in the Mini, an active authenticated session, or a TikTok order reference sufficient to locate the relevant record.
• If appealing a prior decision, the prior case reference and why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Do not send a TikTok password, verification code, authorization code, access token, session token, payment credential, or identity document unless we later provide a specifically protected verification method. Email alone may be insufficient to link you safely to a pseudonymous viewer record.

Verification

We verify requests in proportion to the sensitivity and risk of the requested action. We prefer proof through an active authenticated Mini session or matching non-sensitive transaction data. We may ask for additional information where reasonably necessary, deny access to sensitive security material, or decline a request we cannot verify. Verification information is used only for the request and retained only as needed to document compliance and prevent fraud.

Authorized agents and parents

Where applicable law permits, an authorized agent may submit a request for you. We may require proof of signed authority and may verify your identity and instructions directly. A parent or legal guardian may contact us concerning a child under 13; we will take reasonable steps to verify the adult's authority without requesting unnecessary information.

What deletion removes

• The active hashed TikTok Open ID and encrypted TikTok access credential held in the Spark viewer authorization record.
• Active Spark viewer sessions linked to that authorization.
• Device-local continue-watching progress on the device where in-product deletion completes.
• Other personal information linked to the verified request that is not required or permitted to be retained.

What may remain

• Orders, entitlements, refunds, and accounting records: retained where needed to complete transactions, prevent duplicate fulfillment, process reversals, comply with tax/accounting duties, or resolve disputes.
• Safety, fraud, rights, and legal records: retained where reasonably necessary to protect users and rights, enforce terms, comply with valid legal process, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• Deletion journal: a minimal cryptographic hash, event cursor, time boundary, and authorization-generation value may remain in a separately protected append-only journal solely to prevent an older backup from recreating deleted authorization data.
• Backups: routine encrypted database backups age out within the stated retention period. Before an isolated backup is restored to service, deletion events are replayed so deleted active authorization data is not reintroduced.
• De-identified information: information that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be retained where permitted by law, with safeguards against re-identification.

Timing, extensions, and appeals

We will acknowledge a request promptly and respond within the period required by the law that applies to you. Some state laws permit an extension when reasonably necessary based on complexity or volume; if used, we will notify you of the reason and expected completion date. If we deny a request in whole or part, we will explain the lawful basis and provide appeal instructions where required. You may also contact your state attorney general or privacy regulator.

Effect on purchases and access

Disconnecting ends Spark's current ability to recognize your TikTok authorization. If legally retained entitlement information can no longer be securely associated with a later authorization, previously unlocked access may not automatically reappear after reconnection. TikTok Bean charges are not automatically refunded by deletion. Contact Support before deletion if you have an unresolved fulfillment or refund issue.

TikTok-controlled information

Deleting Spark data does not delete your TikTok account, TikTok Bean wallet, TikTok transaction records, reports held independently by TikTok, or information TikTok processes for its own purposes. Use TikTok's account, privacy, payment, and Manage apps controls for those records. Similarly, deleting your TikTok account does not necessarily delete records Sparkart must lawfully retain; TikTok's authorization-removal notice initiates deletion of the active Spark authorization.
